BATE Borisov – Arsenal
BATE Borisov welcomes Arsenal in a match of the 2nd round (group stage) of the UEFA Europa League.
BATE Borisov: The home team drew 1-1 in their Europa League opener with Crvena Zvezda. Though they were lucky to get a point after being out-played for most of the match. This is BATE’s first season in the Europa League since 2010. However, they have participated in the Champions League group stages in four of the six seasons since. They are undefeated in their last 4 matches of the Europa League but those were matches against much weaker teams than Arsenal.
Arsenal: The away team did enough to beat Koln comfortably in their opener. It was a game in which their class shone through. Also, Gunners present high quality in its offensive and defensive segments of the play. However, their team played under big pressure at the start of the season as supporters criticized Wenger’s decisions. Hence, this is a great opportunity to satisfy their fans with a positive result even playing away from home.
Conclusion: Seems like, that BATE is well-aware of the Arsenal’s strength and won’t be going for three points here. On the other side, Gunners are piecing together an effective team and improve their form with each new match. Therefore, a comfortable win is the great way to keep their momentum going.
