Tottenham meets Chelsea in a match for the 2nd round of the English Premier League. The home team took a while to get going against Newcastle last time out, but once they did (aided by Shelvey’s sending off) they created a lot of good chances. Playing a home match at a different stadium will obviously be a concern for many of teams, but don’t expect it to affect them too much. On the other side, Chelsea had a day to forget against Burnley last weekend, going down 3-2 and having Cahill and Fabregas sent off. For Chelsea, this means they’re now without Fabregas, Cahill, Hazard and Bakayoko, whilst Pedro remains a doubt. Conte has selection issues ahead of this game, and may well set up for a point. Furthermore, Tottenham has conceded the fewest goals at home of anyone and without Hazard on the pitch, the danger to their defence should be far reduced. In which case, a low-scoring game is expected.
